Celebrate smALL things this summer!
August is the only month without a major national calendared holiday, so why not celebrate the little things? Celebrating small wins are important for all of us. It keeps us motivated to keep living in the vibration of joy. It reminds us that we are accomplishing goals when it feels like sometimes we’re running through thick honey. It’s about the journey, so let’s rejoice and play through the work to make life more meaningful on the way.
Here’s a list of 5 overlooked reasons to gather and play:
It’s your Unbirthday! Ok, so we stole this idea from the Mad Hatter, but he’s got it down. Who doesn’t want an excuse to have a tea party with some friends? Everyone gets to be commemorated for being alive even if we aren’t necessarily born that day! Scones, finger sandwiches, and petit fours are a necessity, of course. Pass little note cards around to write down three happy moments you’ve experienced this week.
You completed a project at work or home that you’re pretty proud of. You did your part and feeling great about it! Tell the masses over a T&C catered barbecue on the weekend. Share your accomplishment no matter the size and invite others to do the same! CELEBRATE!
You tried a new activity you are loving and want to share your new-found hobby with everyone! You learned to throw clay on a wheel, wrote your first song with a new instrument, or baked up a yummy recipe you’ve never tried. Get everyone involved by sharing your newfound skill. Play the song, teach an element of what you’ve learned, share your project or treat, and have fun! It DOESN’T have to be perfect yet, a win is a win! (Just remember the snacks!)
Did you teach your dog a new trick? Let’s REVEL in this excitement! Bring a few doggie friends, all your human friends, and we’ll provide the Baja Peninsula Taco buffet for the adults and Baj-wow Peninsula Buffet for the pups! Remember to have Luna give everyone high fives like you’ve been teaching her as they come into the party.
Get a sudden burst of energy to dance? After your solo dance party, let it inspire you to have a block party with some T&C catering and bar service, and dance the night away. We’ll also help you get the DJ! You deserve to feel the amount of joy a dance party can bring. Let’s get it going!
