9 Valentine’s Day Fun Time Ideas

Coupled or not, here are 9 Valentine’s Day ideas to make the day even more than just hearts and candy.

1.) Park Day! Hey, we’re in California, if it’s nice out, have a picnic. If it’s a bit squishy out, lay out your picnic blanket in the living room with your favorite nosh and put some plants nearby. It’ll be like the real thing! (well, kinda…)

2.) Cook with your valentine and create something magical in the kitchen. If you’re more of a follow-the-recipe type, here’s a fun and delicious recipe you can make together. All the fun is in getting messy, right?! (Remember to post and tag us @tasteandcompany #tastethis)

3.) Distance Date: Not quite ready for in-person fun or just too far away? Order a bottle of wine or favorite drink for each other from a wine-delivery service and toast over video. You can even get silly and play some fun digital games.

4.) Galentines Day is always fun with a small group of single friends. Taste and Company will cater your small social distance party with Gourmet to Go. Instead of romantic valentine’s cards, write cute and empowering love notes to each other.

5.) Build a living room fort and watch movies on a ton of pillows and fluff. It’s time to get cozy!

6.) Get crafty. Make vision boards, Paint and Sip, or craft some mugs with a few porcelain paint markers from the craft store. Profess your love on a mug so they have it forever!

7.) Couples yoga: Jump in with Yoga with Adriene or find another fun yoga class to do together. You can even try finding simple couples yoga poses to learn.

8.) Take a Hike! …no, we mean together! Enjoy a relaxing and beautiful walk in the hills. Breathe and take in your surroundings to truly remember each moment.

9.) Plan a wild party together for when lockdown is over. What will it look like? How extravagant can you get? Go crazy! (You can be realistic another time.) And when the time comes, we can help you throw it!
